Making your voice heard by voting is your right, and now with so many great options it's easy to do! Whether you Vote Early, Vote By Mail or Vote on Election Day we encourage you to make your plan to vote today!
Can't wait until Election Day to make your voice heard? Early Voting is now available everyday through Monday, November 5th at the Sangamon County Election Office.
Note - If you live in precincts Capital 14, 37, 92, 93, 99 and Woodside 02 a special Early Voting location will be open at the U of I at Springfield from Thursday, October 25th to Friday, November 2nd for you to vote at. For more information click here.
Vote By Mail
Applications for voting by mail are now being accepted in Sangamon County. To learn more about voting by mail in Sangamon County click here. Applying to vote by mail is easy to do, you can either apply online (using the link below) or by mail (using the downloadable form below). The last day that vote by mail applications will be accepted is Thursday, November 1, 2018. The last day that vote by mail ballots can be post marked for return is Election Day Tuesday, November 6, 2018.

Grace Period Registration & Voting
Registering to vote in Sangamon County is easy to do! Though traditional and online registration are now closed, you can still register to vote and vote through Election Day by taking advantage of Grace Period registration & voting at the Sangamon County Election Office, 200 S 9th St, Room 105 in Springfield during their early voting hours.
